Fund Accounting Manager – B Capital Group



B Capital is seeking a Finance Manager that is capable of taking additional responsibilities on from the team as the position progresses. This position is a great opportunity to gain a broad range of experience within a growing venture capital firm. The position will primarily be focused on fund accounting, portfolio company reporting, quarterly valuations, and internal/external reporting. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated “all-purpose athlete” who can be flexible with their skills to help with a variety of projects across different firm areas.

Basic Job Responsibilities

  • Key member of lean internal finance team helping oversee multiple funds across a variety of sectors, geographies, and strategies
  • Collaborates with internal and external accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Reconcile and manage various Funds, SPVs, and Holdco entities
  • Liaise with fund administrator for investments, capital calls, distributions, management fee calculations, and quarterly financial statement reporting
  • Work with internal and external teams to manage the quarterly valuation process across multiple entities
  • Maintain line of credit, including borrowings, paydowns, interest accruals, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with global portfolio reporting. Includes working with internal investment and platform team members, external portfolio companies, and overseeing a global portfolio reporting tech platform

Investor Relations Associate and Chief of Staff – B Capital Group



B Capital Group is looking for an Investor Relations Associate and Chief of Staff to support our Co-Founder in Investor Relations related research, meetings, and events. The Associate shall be primarily responsible for assisting with existing investor servicing as well as project managing the fundraising process with a key focus on due diligence requests from potential investors. The Associate should also excel operationally and help support day-to-day IR processes, including, but not limited to, creating PowerPoint decks and speaking publicly about B Capital.


BASIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead investor outreach and fundraising efforts in partnership with the Co-Founder
  • Assisting with the preparation of fund-raising materials including executive summaries, pitch books, PPMs, DDQs, etc.
  • Collaborating with investment and finance teams to complete due diligence requests on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Organizing LP due diligence on-sites and prepare the relevant presentation materials.
  • Manage investor CRM database and various platforms while maintaining high accuracy of data through extensive quality checking procedures.
  • Supporting the planning, preparation, and implementation of various investor events
  • Developing and preparing annual LP conference materials, pitch books, performance memos

Operations Manager – Plexo Capital
