Happy Wednesday and good morning…

My blog audience and social followers (Stocktwits and Twitter) have been growing fast of late.

It is fun to see all the new faces.

When the audience grows I tend to get a lot of questions that I have already answered in blog posts years back.

The two big ones…

How I got Started blogging?  And, would I share some lessons about the markets and investing for a beginner?

For starters, here is a link to my blog directory so you can troll me for all my bad ideas on startups and stocks.

Back in 2015 I wrote ‘Ten Years Of Blogging – What I’ve Learned‘ and it answers both questions. I probably read it once a year thinking I should update it and even today I would not change a thing.

Over the course of my career, I have invested (personally,through my hedge fund and through Social Leverage) in over 100 startups and started a few companies myself. I’ve made good trades and bad trades, met mostly incredible people and had some great mentors.

I started this blog 10 years ago today to journal and keep myself honest and accountable for my decisions. And while ten years of archives inevitably includes some cringe-worthy nuggets, on the whole, I’m proud of what this blog has turned into. It definitely served (and continues to serve) its purpose.
