My wife and I were walking down a path by our cabin yesterday.  She spotted this Lady Slipper in the later stages of bloom.  They are sort of rare, and we have two on our property.  They aren’t too far from each other and are about the same distance from the lake so it must be fertile ground for them.

It’s a simple flower.  Great things are like that. Simple.

Great businesses are like that too.  They distill complex processes into simple processes that are easily executable.  The reason Milton Friedman was such a great economist was his ability to simplify complex ideas so normal people like me could understand them.  Once you understand, you can execute.
