The Greatest Living Ballplayers

The Greatest Living Ballplayers:

Andrew Beaton:

No player claims the title for two different teams. Barry Bonds played 15 of his 22 career seasons with the San Francisco Giants, including his most prolific home-run hitting years and five of his most valuable player awards, but he is the Pittsburgh Pirates’ franchise leader for the contributions from the first seven years of his career. Bonds would lead the Giants, too, if it weren’t for Willie Mays, who owns the highest WAR of any living player for a single team.

Excellent list (based on WAR) that is filled with surprises – many of which probably shouldn’t be surprises when you stop to think about it.
